This was the first time the St John Singers had given a concert in this delightful church.
The programme included
'Exultate Deo' - G.P. da Palestrina: 'O pray for the peace of Jerusalem'- Herbert Howells;
'Hail Gladening Light' - Charles Wood; 'So the day dawn for me' - Bob Chilcott (a new piece especially composed for the choir's Director of Music); 'Kyrie & Gloria' from 'A Little Jazz Mass' - Bob Chilcott. Guest artistes were David Coram organ and Sonia Woolley reader .
After the concert, canapes and wine were served outside. The proceeds of the concert were given to the Bible Society.
