The St John Singers gives is annual 'performance' of Stainer's 'Crucifixion' in the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Steeple Ashton. The choir will be joined by soloists Ian Wicks tenor and Hugh Hetherington bass both of whom sing in the Salisbury Cathedral Choir. Steeple Ashton village is located in West Wiltshire midway between Bath and Salisbury. The church, with its tall tower and many pinnacles, rises high above the picturesque village of Steeple Ashton and the surrounding area. . Entry is free with a retiring collection
