The St John Singers was joined by the Bournemouth Male Voice Choir, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary, in a very successful concert with a varied programme of sacred and secular pieces which included Hubert Parry's Coronation Anthem 'I was glad', Handel's 'Hallelujiah Chorus' and pieces by Faure, Poulenc, Rogers and Hart and many others. The concert supported the local branch of Cancer Research UK who provided wine during the interval. Although the image does not show it, there was a very large audience.
